Review by hotel critic
Our stay at Casa Emilia in Ubrique was truly delightful. Mrs Emilia and her sons were incredibly charming and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Despite a minor mishap with the chimney, they handled it with grace and humor, making us feel right at home in their cozy abode. The location in the old town was a dream for someone like me who adores exploring narrow, winding streets. The views of the town and mountains from our apartment were breathtaking, and the proximity to hiking trails and historic Roman roads made our stay even more enchanting. The apartment itself was a gem - spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with striking blue walls that added an artistic touch. The hydromassage shower in the private bathroom was a luxurious treat, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. To top it all off, the hospitality at Casa Emilia was unmatched. Emilia's use of technology to bridge the language barrier showed her dedication to guest satisfaction. The free room upgrade and the lovely welcome drink were thoughtful gestures that made our stay extra special. In conclusion, Casa Emilia is a hidden gem in the heart of Ubrique, offering a unique blend of charm, comfort, and warm hospitality. Whether you're a solo traveler like me or exploring with a companion, this quaint rural house is a true culinary and cultural experience not to be missed.
